Course Description
This course is a continuation of Medical Assistant Clinical Lecture and further develops the student's skills, abilities, and behaviors in the role of Clinical Medical Assistant. This course prepares to identify anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology of body systems, to calculate proper dosage calculations for medication administration, perform safe medication administration, perform diagnostic tests delegated to the medical assistant by the provider (ECG, pulmonary function tests, venipuncture, etc.), and perform diagnostic tests commonly performed as point of care testing. This class must be taken with MA106lab.
