Students should understand the definition, purpose, and scope of interpersonal, intrapersonal, group and public communication through written assignments, quizzes, tests, exercise, and activities.

Students will demonstrate their ability to choose an appropriate topic, plan, organize and deliver a presentation.

Students will analyze the effectiveness of other speakers by applying appropriate criteria when attending one speaking event outside of class.

Students will demonstrate their ability to work effectively as members of groups through goal setting and carrying out group processes to attain said goals.
