Course Description
This capstone course will give students an opportunity to build additional skills and experience in the field of data science. A rotation of faculty and/or community speakers will give students access to new relevant tools in the field (AI, Learning, Big Data, etc.). Students will engage in both individualized and team-based activities to sharpen technical skills and build a portfolio or online repository. The course culminates in the class completing a data science-related project for a community or business partner. Students will properly collect, clean, and analyze data using the tools learned in the program to make informed decisions and deliver clear professional presentations to the relevant project stakeholders.
