Develop a vocabulary of approximately 450 additional ASL signs during the semester.

Use correct basic ASL sentence construction.

Create grammatically correct sentences using appropriate body and facial expression.

Identify various sentence types, such as comparative, conditional, and rhetorical sentences.

Demonstrate and respond to signs being used by another person.

Prepare to attend Deaf functions to meet and interact with Deaf adults using sign language.

Receptively translate signed ASL sentences to proper written verbal English form.

Use basic manual/facial grammar correctly, as well as correct use and production of numbers in ASL.

Analyze a story or paragraph using appropriate ASL concepts.
