identify and utilize conservation and presentation methods appropriate for the safe display and storage of a variety of two- and three-dimensional artworks

create didactic materials for use in exhibits and collections displays

design and arrange effective exhibits in a gallery setting

create and assemble mats, frames, and other presentation/display materials

communicate effectively with art professionals

identify a continuum of art exhibiting organizations; understand their respective mission statements; be familiar with the various art professional roles in art museums, art centers, and commercial galleries; and be knowledgeable about their varied responsibilities as relates to the safety and conservation of works of art in their possession
