Course Description
Note: A graphing calculator is required. This is a calculus-based introductory statistics course for science and engineering students. Topics include: descriptive and inferential statistics, probability, discrete and continuous probability distributions, joint probability distributions, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, analysis of variance, correlation and linear regression, non-parametric techniques, and quality control methods. Applications and associated technologies for data science, research, and engineering are integrated into a capstone project.
